With the growing deterioration of ecosystems around the globe, the falling numbers of endangered species, and the increasing numbers of extinct species, the necessity to act becomes more and more imperative each day. This goes beyond recycling and conserving energy in our day to day lives. Not only do I hope to instill a higher appreciation for the world around us, I also want to give folks who support my work the chance to help make a difference by also supporting the work of others who strive for a more sustainable future for all.

How Does Hiraeth Diaries Give Back?

10% of all bookings and 20% of all print sales are donated to an organization involved with conservation and rescue programs for the environment and wildlife around the globe. Art shows and fundraiser events, such as the "Shadows of the Oil Palm" lecture, also help raise funds and/or materials depending on the organizations' needs.

Currently all donations are being donated to the Orangutan Information Centre. To learn more about any of the organizations I support, visit their websites! --->

Visiting My Recipients

One of my goals is to visit each of the organizations I support to see firsthand the work they do and build a relationship with their teams to better share and support their work. So far I've been to OIC, RMRP, and VOTK.
